| Well after about a 7 hours of searching / fab work last night, jmw23712 and I finally found the boost leak that has been driving me insane for MONTHS! I first thought it was my AAC that was leaking so we made a custom plate to put over the hole on the back of the plenum to completely eliminate that option / have more room to feel around and there was still that annoying HISSSSSS sound coming from slightly below that area. Turns out to be the drivers side head gasket.... which sucks :( For those of you that have had this problem and fixed it...is it better to go ahead and pull the engine and then tear it down....or is it fine to just start removing things with the engine still in the car? Also, any danger in driving it with the leaky head gasket short term? Thanks!
